When I view my Dashboard as an administrator I cannot see ALL students that are enrolled in active courses.  For whatever reason, students that are active, and enrolled in active courses, but have yet to begin working in the course are left out of this report.  I have selected the student filters of "Active" and the Progress filter is selected to "All".  Does anyone know how we can make sure ALL students are included in these dashboard reports?  Without them, I am finding that I can't accurately monitor which students are truly behind because they haven't even started the coursework yet.

Thanks!

That is really frustrating, right?
And the same with teachers, they can't see on their dashboards the kids who haven't started, so they email me checking if I enrolled them.
The only way I know is to look at Courses - Manage Enrollments and then you can sort by progress and see who's still at 0%.

This happens to me as a teacher too. In addition to my students where I work in Independent Study, I run credit recovery sessions at one of my district's comprehensive high schools. It used to be that once I enrolled them, I would see them all on my dashboard even if they hadn't started. But then a couple years ago this problem you're discussing started happening. It's important for them to show up, because when I send dashboard reports to the counselors at that schools, they need to see that a student they enrolled for credit recovery isn't working.

What the Edgenuity Helpline told me to do was go in to each class students were enrolled in and change one thing (give them 61 minutes for their pre-test instead of 60) and then the student would appear in the dashboard. It works, but it takes me a lot of time. It would be nice if they just showed up in the dashboard whether they had started or not.

Hi folks,

The Manage Enrollments screen is where you are able to pull the 0% progress students. The dashboard is intended to show only students who have begun their courses.

But I don't see any way to export Manage Enrollments. I need to send dashboard downloads in a spreadsheet for groups of students who are all enrolled in different courses, so even if I could export from Manage Enrollments, that wouldn't help. I waste hours with the fix that was recommended to me. It would be really helpful if students who haven't started would show up on the dashboard. Is there any other workaround for this?

@Dana Stibor I'm able to download my Manage Enrollments screen. Could you put those students into a Group and then filter your Manage Enrollments for just that group and download the Excel spreadsheet? That's how I do some progress reporting for our full-time students.

@Mary Lou McCaslin I think what we are saying is that we recognize that the dashboard is set up for just for students who have started, but it makes more sense for the dashboard to include all students who are enrolled in 1 or more courses.

How do you download the Manage Enrollments screen? I do not see that option anywhere.

I have an Excel button at the top of my Manage Enrollment screen:

Thank you so much Stephanie. It would certainly be more intuitive, but now I see it and it does create quite a detailed report. I always have a User Group for my Credit Recovery sessions and am happy to see that I could get all the courses in one report. It's still weird because a couple years ago everyone did appear on my dashboard, whether they'd started or not. But this tool will be helpful. This is the great thing about this forum!
