I have to regrade almost all of it. I just exclude all the short answers and journals now because I don't have time to regrade everything for every student. Its time consuming for sure.

I just had a student contact me about looking over her assignment because she received a zero on it. It's so frustrating that a student is given a zero for an answer like this:

Good idea, although a lot of work! I've asked about this in the past too. I've seen the auto-grader give 0s to decent responses because they didn't include the exact key words, and then 100%s for terrible answers. It's weird that there's no in between. I used to go in and read responses and then override the grades when I had fewer students, but as our program got bigger I'd start to miss some.
One more addition to the feature request list!

We've requested that in the past, but it's never been changed.
It's an issue.
For Art History, our teacher went through and replaced all of the Edg prompt with her own, categorized as Projects, which she grades.
We did the same for Sociology.

Is there a way to turn off the autograde for journal activities and online content activities so that the teacher can grade each assignment.
Some students are receiving 100% for incomplete responses.
